Underfloor heatingA wood floor not only brings a pleasant, cosy atmosphere to your home, but is also nice and warm to the touch.
You don't need magic to install a floating laminate floor. All you need to do is observe a few basic rules and use the right tools. The rest is very simple: The individual boards are interlocked without being firmly connected to the subfloor or other structural elements. The glueless Top Connect® installation system – one of the easiest in the world – helps you to achieve this.
The right subfloor
The right preparation makes all the difference. When you are installing a floating floor, the subfloor has to be completely even. This ensures that the installed floor will be firm and quiet when you walk on it and will stay beautiful for a long time. The easiest way to even out irregularities of the subfloor is to use a self-levelling compound. Then place a moisture protection film on the subfloor, add an insulation underlay, and you're ready to start installing. Installation instructions
Installing
The detailed HARO instructions show you step by step how to install the floor. Cut to size, connect, finished! HARO Laminate Floor has been designed for glueless installation. You can additionally apply glue to the joints or glue it down to the subfloor if required for your application area. Be careful to leave enough expansion space around perimeter. Otherwise, the floor might buckle later. Small distance spacers between the floor and wall ensure the right distance to the wall. You can simply remove them as soon as you're done. All that's missing now is the skirtings. As a result you get that perfect look.
